The Danish and English teams were unable to defeat each other and drew in a Group C match at Euro 2024. The match ended 1-1, with the English scoring first through Harry Kane in the 18th minute, and Morten Hjulmand equalizing before halftime.

The match started dynamically, and the first accurate shot came in the 23rd second. It was for the Danes, with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shooting at the England goal, but Jordan Pickford saved easily.

The game then calmed down and there were no interesting situations until around the 10th minute.

However, the first real chance for England to score came in the 13th minute. Phil Foden made his way into the penalty area and shot at goal, looking for the far top corner, but the ball flew over the crossbar.

The “Three Lions” started to put even more pressure on their opponents and the logical thing happened in the 18th minute. The English scored after a very rough mistake by the Danes. Kyle Walker took advantage of Victor Kristiansen’s mistake and advanced. He entered the penalty area and passed to Bukayo Saka. He in turn found Harry Kane, who had no problems scoring in the bottom right corner.

The Danes played more boldly and got back into the game in the 34th minute when Morten Hjulmand equalized with an incredible long-range goal. Harry Kane tried to find a teammate, but made a mistake, which the Danes took advantage of. Victor Kristiansen won the ball and advanced towards the England goal. He combined with Morten Hjulmand, who sent the ball into Pickford’s goal from 28 meters out in a fantastic way.

The second half started with more chances for England. In the 52nd minute, Saka was put into the penalty area by Trent Alexander-Arnold. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel came out, but Saka got ahead of him and headed the ball, but it didn’t go into the net.

Just 3 minutes later, Phil Foden shot powerfully in the penalty area, but the ball ricocheted off the left post of Schmeichel’s goal. Bukayo Saka followed up, but his shot was too inaccurate.

The English continued to play well. In the 71st minute, Jude Bellingham set up Ollie Watkins, who had a chance to score. However, Schmeichel was alert and Watkins was unable to score.

In the 73rd minute, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot accurately from distance, but the England goalkeeper made a great save.

In the final minutes of the match, Denmark played more actively and tried to get a winning goal. First, Andreas Christensen shot on the volley from a corner, but over the crossbar. Shortly after, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg took advantage of another mistake by the English team and won the ball and struck a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, but it went past the right post of the goal.
